About

Houston Quarterback Academy

The Houston Quarterback Academy (HQBA) was founded in 2010 to offer professional-level instruction to Quarterbacks of all ages.

Due to the high mental and physical demands of the position, Quarterback is widely considered the most challenging position in all of sports. And with the increasing emphasis placed on the passing game, a Quarterback must prepare mentally and physically more than anyone on the field in order to meet the many challenges the game presents.

HQBA prides itself on developing the “whole” Quarterback, because being a successful Quarterback is about much more than just throwing a touchdown. HQBA’s goal for each Quarterback is to equip them with all the tools they will need in their toolbox to get the job done.
HQBA’s focus starts with a strong attention to detail, which is vital in learning the fundamentals of the Quarterback position. These fundamentals are the building blocks for any Quarterback, regardless of age, and will have an application irrespective of the type of offense the Quarterback is leading.
